8tricate and illuring at first, the film quickly dwindled into this kind of mess. The main character was too deep into her own involvement with the case to be concerned of anyone else and because of that, was hard to watch. A majority of the time I questioned the protocols and ethical practices Harker displayed on screen, I asked myself often' Is that what I would do? Is that the proper way to handle that kind of situation? Why did she leave the door open?'
It sure did have me jumping in my seat but the story could have looked more into the serial killer. How did he become a Satanist? How did he come about his powers? Why is he white?(lol)
Overall, I was disappointed of the ending and had the thought of asking for my money back. Many others leaving the theater were confused and upset about the outcome. I honestly was falling asleep near the end.
Longlegs lore HAS to be explained. He happens to be the most interesting person in the film.
