My husband and I loved this show โ eventually. It took some time to go with flow of seemingly meaningless snd unbelievable situations but which evolve satisfactorily. It was wonderful, especially showcasing aging, family secrets, dementia, grief. Excellent acting of Simmons and Spacek.
So sorry it wasnโt continued. Alsoโ I cannot believe this work was not even mentioned in Simmonsโ list of films in his bio or Wikipedia! WTH?

Poorly written (word usage, unnecessary details, cliched, etc), too long. Exhausting. I read It Begins โฆ first and hoped this would be better. I will finish because itโs for a book club. Donโt understand the many great reviews or awards. Sorry. ๐ฅฒ
