Maggie Scelly

The Queen's Gambit is a mini-series which means no endless wait for the next season , this in itself made it worth a try for me. I'm not sure I expected to be entranced or enthralled by a storyline concerning a child prodigy and the game of chess and yet that's exactly what happened. I watched from beginning to end without feeling bored, frustrated or restless, the story light enough to keep me watching but with enough depth to keep me truly engaged. Well done Netflix, this is definitely one worth watching.
