Watched a re-run of a case where this black young guy totally beat up on this young white guy and the judge's actions, words and decision for that case was so far off! They were both model prospects and according to the judge, the white guy seemed to be someone who is boastful and annoying and hence got punched by the black guy. Not once did I hear her reprimand this black young man that no matter who taunts him it's no reason to use them as a punching bag. Not once! What happens when he thinks a cop said the wrong thing to him or someone else with a gun? She missed an opportunity to instruct a young black man that violence is not going to get him anywhere. I am black, by the way, and it's time these things are not dealt with based on race. I think that's what she did and that's wrong. I wondered how this would have gone had the roles been reversed. No matter what race, a judge should know how to not be biased. I lost respect for sure.
