One of the very best British comedies!

To measure up to Christopher Nolan's vision of Batman and Gotham needed nothing less than a masterpiece. His trilogy has redefined our perception and imagination of what a Batman movie should be. It is a pleasure to say that Matt Reeves not just met expectations but surpassed them. From the first frame onward, the movie never lets up, even without the chest-thumping Hans Zimmer music. The audience is brought back to the old Batman, as DC Comics imagined it to be; dark, brooding, moody lighting and ambience. The cinematography is top-notch, the story complex enough to rivet our attention through the 2:50min length. Robert Pattinkin is in a class of his own. He does not compete with Christian Slater. This movie is a must-watch.

Must-see Rajni movie with tons of allegory and symbolism. You don't have a superstar, but an actor here, one we loved in the 80s and the early 90s, before he became a demi-god (whom we liked anyway, but simply wasn't the same). We see a man here instead, and root for him, as he battles a formidable, far more powerful adversary, Nana Patekar in an unforgettable role. A quick question I ask myself right after a movie, "Would I wanna see this again?" This time, unlike Linga and Kabali, the answer was clearly affirmative.

Loved the non-stop action and the sheer physicality of the female protagonist, and the simple story-line that builds up for (hopefully) a series of remakes! Way to go Ms. Vikander, encore! Encore!
