The drama is okay but the role of Jenny, the Coroner, is stretched far beyond reality and what actually a real life Coroner or Forensic Pathologist does in relation to a death investigation. Their role is to determine the cause of death and possibly the mechanism that caused same. They don’t interview witnesses, suspects or accused people; they may speak to family of the victim. The police do all the legwork, interviews and gathering of evidence to bring the accused before the courts. I hope people who watch the series and enjoy it need to remember it’s nonfiction and isn’t reality.
