Just watched this movie and had a great time. Just as much fun as Ragnarok and it keeps me excited for what’s next in Marvel. Honestly my favorite addition to phase 4 yet (by quite a bit), and definitely in my top 10 for the marvel franchise as a whole.

I just saw this movie opening night, having heard for days prior about how poorly-reviewed it was and how out-of-place the director was for this film. These reviews lowered my expectations, inevitably. This movie felt different from other Marvel films, but I think it had to for the introduction of such a new cast of characters and sprawling concept. I enjoyed the film. I thought each actor played their role well, I thought it was beautifully shot, and I thought the story was told about as well as it could have been with how many prior films there have been. It’s not my favorite Marvel film, but it’s definitely not bad. And Kumail is hilarious! It’s a fun time. Go see it

I see a lot of people saying this movie wasn’t good, but that wasn’t my experience at all. I saw it in theaters in the US during COVID; I was the only one in the IMAX theater, which was a phenomenal experience. (Yes, I monitored ticket sales to ensure a safe viewing experience.) I’m a fan of Nolan to begin with and came in with extremely high expectations. I found the film gripping throughout. Even early on, when you get the primary point of the plot, still watching it unfold is imaginative and nuanced. I left the theater incredibly pleased. Give this film a chance and really immerse yourself in it!
