This anime has a very unique premise. Instead of focusing on one person and their delopment and future, this shows the aftermath of an adventure, where the main character's past constantly affects the situations at hand. The anime also highlights the bonds of the characters and their dynamics.
They focus on the human emotions, how people influence each other, and their relationships with themselves. It's a slow-paced and peaceful anime with little tension to no tension. Despite this being a fantasy anime, it feels real. It seems like it was written to specifically grab the watcher's heart and make the fourth wall disappear. The characters are relatable and they make sense if you know what I mean. The development of the young characters are not immediately shown but they are improving.
If you are a person that's into a deep slice of life anime, this is a great watch.
