I went into this movie hoping for a fresh take on a classic, but what I got was a dull, uninspired mess that barely resembled the beloved story. The charm and magic of the original are completely absent, replaced by a lifeless script, awkward pacing, and characters that feel like hollow imitations. The visuals are surprisingly bland for a Disney film, and the CGI is distractingly bad in some scenes. Snow White herself lacks the warmth and charm that made the character so iconic, and the so-called “modern updates” to the story feel forced rather than meaningful. Instead of enhancing the tale, they strip away its heart, leaving behind a film that neither respects the original nor tells a compelling new story.
