I feel like the only reason people give a damn about this movie is because it has Ed Sheeran in it. And when you put a famous pop star with little to no acting experience as one of the main characters, its just a cash grab kind of thing. I decided to give it two stars because i dont think it is bad enough to have 1 star. The entire premise of the movie is a little farfetched, Jack Malik is a struggling singer-songwriter in an English seaside town whose dreams of fame are rapidly fading, despite the fierce devotion and support of his childhood best friend, Ellie. After a freak bus accident during a mysterious global blackout, Jack wakes up to discover that The Beatles have never existed. Performing songs by the greatest band in history to a world that has never heard them, Jack becomes on overnight sensation with a little help from his agent. (And yes, before you asked, i copied and pasted the first result on google because im lazy ;-;) I love the beatles, right? they are very deserving of the greatest rock band of all time, with songs like Elenor Rigby, Yesterday, Here Comes The Sun, and several great albums like Abbey Road, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band, and the White Album (there self-titled album). That might be the reason i gave this film two stars and not one, because of how much I love the Beatles, and how they made a movie mostly about them. Oh and let me just get this out of the way, i didint sign up for this to see people have sex.
