I was excited for the RE-release of Dokapon Kingdom comming in MAY but i have found out from news sources and RTgame stream on TWITCH showed me that the game was censored.
When there's a re-release of a game i typically expect to get that game as a consumer because that's what was advertised. I mean Zen Studios re released versions of old pinball games on PINBAL FX 3 and they had an option to turn off the stupid censorship... followed by compulsory legal notices as to inform consumers as to what content was changed and altered so they wouldn't get sued.
So why act differently here?
CERO censorship is the fascistic state sponsored censorship that Japan imposes on games is sad and unfortunate enough. but this seems above and beyond that. many other games get the equvilant cero raiting and reveal more but to censor art and fun for international consumers is inane. especially on steam and the Switch.
I will be contacting the FIRE and maybe there's a way we can reverse such REDICULOUS regulations on an artistic medium and NOT have American consumers dupped and to protect fun. after all. Games are a protected medium as ruled by the supreme court. having FULL protections of the first amendment. Thing is the first amdenment is useless if moral busybodies decide what fun you can and cannot have, what you can and cannot see. Especially with the harmless stuff that is now magically a "problem" over 7 years later.
