American Fiction was a movie to love. The thing is, I’m a septuagenarian and I am sorry to say that I did not know who any of these actors were except for Sterling. So handsome. This movie was funny, yet it was soulful. The acting by the main character, Monk, was so excellent. As a matter of fact, everyone of these actors was wonderful, convincing, and the story was very believable. It had love, love and more love. It had a quirkiness to it and tender moments, too. So, get some munchies and turn on to this very cool movie. It won many awards so you really don’t need my recommendation. The Septuagenarian 2025 January

A story that was very different— not a happy situation but realistic and very possible in real life. This is in relation to the relationship between the main characters. The starling was a metaphor for a thought provoking conversation about life.
