Really bad, actually.
But excellent marketing! A shout out to my colleagues who managed to sell this book with good positioning in the bookstores and clever advertising. However, once you read the book, it’s utterly disappointing. You can’t fall in love with any character; the main one is a woman who buries herself in self-pity, and seeing the world through her lenses is really horrible. There isn’t an evolution in the story. I'm just missing the point of this book. Some pages are funny, like the Google searches, but they just can’t make up for an otherwise boring story, characters, and writing.
