Really unsure how I felt about this book. I either loved it or hated it. It's nothing to do with the authors brilliance, perhaps more how I felt. My world is naturally at odds with scenarios where so much complications can be avoided. It just made me so sad and I don't particularly like to feel sad after reading. I read this after reading all the colours of the dark which I loved. Chris whitaker is phenomenal. I also figured that book was a 5/5 and admittedly this wasn't as good as that.
