Straight, simple and to the point. This book is terrific for letting the beginner start using Node.js, npm, Express, and MongoDB by implementing with the author a practical application (a blog app). Can't wait to also read the author's book on Angular. I'm a second shift type of coder that sometimes has to go for awhile between projects and languages so that I'm a little rusty out of the gate. This is exactly the type of book that explains everything in a simple way so that you understand and remember and let's me be productive sooner. While I sought out this book by necessity, I've come to really appreciate Node.js more than I expected. This book will through simple demonstration show you how powerful it is and will spark hundreds of ideas in your mind as to how it can be implemented. Couldn't recommend more.
