I will make this sweet & to the point. . The movie: great casting (except for Tyson in the 2nd movie he was terrible and nothing like the description in the books) , great budget, incorrect storyline not completely but the storyline did not follow the book to a T. The characters were older but if the movie followed the book it would have been more of a hit. The Tv Series: terrible casting, low budget but does follows the book. In my opinion it is EXTREMELY low budget. It puts you in the mind of the old Hercules and Xena tv shows which were good (back then). This show is sort of coming off as boring so far. The mother , Mr D, the smelly boyfriend, Annabeth like I have so many issues with this complete line up. Also its so low budget that RipTide is a cheap pen with a cap on it, it doesnt click or anything. I just had to point that detail out.
