The concept for this show is pretty fun. Taking an old motel and making it “hip” and targeting vapid Instagram loving customers. I have read all of the reviews here and it’s clear that people can see through their fake accents. Let’s be clear, people aren’t being cruel about their “voices” they are pointing out the obvious forced Valley girl speech made popular by rich vapid Los Angeles socialites and influencers. This is a learned and applied way of speaking. This is not their authentic form of speech which makes them appear to be those simple vapid socialites they are mimicking. I think this is ridiculous because it’s obvious that they are not that. The two host are clearly smart girls who have created something together which is alone a cool premise but it’s brought down by the constant painful, inauthentic, nails on chalkboard use of valley girl vocal fry and constant reference to Róse. Be yourselves! Be authentic! Those forced accents are not a regional Canadian dialect!! Byeee
