It's a love story with a Sci-fi angle.
Basically the first part of the movie showed the love story of Khilaat and Joyee. The depiction of their growing chemistry into a full fledged commitment was beautiful, natural, sweet and fun.
But the Sci-fi part is very poorly built-up and hence had a lot of loopholes.
