The story is flat as are the characters. There was nothing gripping in the plot and I found the dialogue to be drawn out and boring. The music was, at times, overwhelming compared to the dialogue which meant I was increasing and decreasing the volume at various points. The Rafferty character was somewhat interesting and was similar to those found in Peaky Blinders. Visually, the series looked great, but that's the only positive I can think of.
