So…I have not been able to get into a good book for a while, so much so that I just have not been reading altogether but I found this book (a book that has a film adaptation I enjoy very much) and I could not put it down. I became obsessed with Nevill’s writing style, the “edge of your seat” anticipation, the suspense that I felt despite the fact I previously saw the movie and…I could not have been more impressed. NOTHING LIKE THE MOVIE. I did not realize how attached I would get to Luke (our main protagonist) because he was not displayed as this ambitious, eager-to-fight and somehow loveable(?) character within the movie (though movies, as we know, aren’t as fulfilling as the book). I’m about to start “Last Days” and I’m very excited. Please please please write more!
