I am a huge fan of Brandon Sanderson and his works, but I am extremely disappointed with how this book was written. He seems to have abandoned his morals for the sake of pure madness. Half of it felt like I was reading a piece of modern propaganda, while the other half came across as a grudging continuation of the story. He has imposed modern views onto medieval characters, as if their worldviews and biases could be transformed with just one conversation. I wonโt even start on the โwoke adsโ or the ruining of a beloved character of mine. I am deeply disappointed and saddened.
There is only one Truth, and everything outside of it is merely a twisted version; shadow is the absence of light. Sadly, Brandon seems to have chosen to write an inferior ending to an otherwise incredible series because standing on and in The Truth is far harder than succumbing to darkness.
