Just got back from theater where we sat thru over 2 hours of this cinematic disaster. Being a long time fan of Last Kingdom, Netflix series and Vikings created by History Channel, I expected something great. I was sure the cast of Nicole Kidman, Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe would deliver. But alas even their star powers could not save the abismal plot and long scenes of supposed Viking religious rituals to appease Odin and Freyr. The only redeeming quality was the cinematic scenes of Iceland and the recreations of the 7th century Scandanavian village.
