Umro Ayyar - A New Beginning" is a game-changer for Pakistani cinema, setting a new standard with its stunning visual effects and captivating storytelling. The movie excels in every department, from its gripping plot and thematic depth to the meticulously designed costumes and immersive world-building. However, the character of Amar could benefit from a more striking costume in the sequel.
Hamza Ali Abbasi's portrayal of Umro Ayyar's star moment was particularly mesmerizing, adding an extra layer of brilliance to the film. The performances of Sanam Saeed, Ali Kazmi, Manzar sehbai,Faran Tahir and Sana were mind-blowing, each delivering depth and intensity to their roles. There were exceptional performances by the whole cast. The script was also masterfully crafted, keeping the audience's attention riveted from start to finish.
One minor issue was the screen brightness, which was too low in several scenes, making it difficult to appreciate certain details. Some sequences, especially those set in bright locations like the university and home, needed more vivid colors and higher brightness. Additionally, a few fight scenes lacked the dynamism expected in such a high-stakes narrative. It might have been the screen brightness issue in the cinema I attended because the colors appeared vibrant in the trailer.
Overall, "Umro Ayyar - A New Beginning" is a fantastic watch, showcasing the immense talent within the Pakistani film industry. Kudos to the entire team for their hard work and creativity. We're eagerly looking forward to part two!
