Overall Ballerina screenplay provided a complicated movie with a strong essence of John Wick. It's mind conscience story made the journey exciting and compelling.
It's fem fatel heroin backstory was thoughtful but reminiscent of other pay for hire assassin based movies. The trailer gave away no plot story twists or climax hints.
I personally liked the John Wick extended cameos and weapon battles..
While I enjoyed this dark adventure, I expected a Master and Padwan relationship that did not happen.
I also had some trouble believing that the Ballerina had the strength, speed, and range to dispose of some of the huskier robust male assassin based opponents.
My favorite fight scene was the firey incineration duel between the protagonist and antagonist. It brought back memories of WWll pacific island battles.
The directing, editing, photography, costum design, scenery, and location selection, also the music score were well done blending seamlessly into the story enhancing the emotional effects. The movie left me no clichรฉ or memorial story lines that led me to believe I'll be back.
Again, Overall, the movie was worth the price of admission with a reason to see it again with a friend who had not yet seen the movie. Well done. The proof is in the pudding. Thanks for the invite.
