I loved this. The development of the relationships was excellent and extremely well played by all the actors except for one that didn't ring true for me - Stockard Channing. There was something ungainly and a bit peculiar about her. The sets were great and an excellent portrayal of family dynamics. Many reviews say there was no plot to speak of and it was boring but I completely disagree. This was a series of fascinating slices of life brought about by bizarre circumstances. I get the feeling that too many people these days are expecting constant action and drama in movies/series and when the development of the story is based around characters and their responses to situations, it is not exciting enough for them, constantly negative reviews.
