Christian Bale is amazing in every movie and his performance here was up to par with that expectation. But... the writing was horrible. Not to mention, inaccurate about events most of lived through. I guess I like the attempt to understand, but you could probably find a YouTube video with more details/information than this film has. People want to be entertained while watching a movie, and this just left like a leftist (hate to even say that word) hit piece on republicans... and not even a good one. This felt like “W” with a better cast.
