Lauren Lapkus is genius as the eponymous Missy. Woefully, the plot, dialog and Spade's acting are firmly rooted in the mid 90's. References to modernity - texting and cancel culture for the most part ๐ - feel like tacked on unknowns.
Come for the Lapkus. Stay for the Lapkus. The rest is forgettable fluff.
