I really loved this reworking much better than the earlier versions. A bit more gritty than the jokey movies that suits better for me.

So far I'm finding it very dull and lacking in proper narrative. They have deviated quite a bit from the original story and so far haven't provided anything to fill in the gaps they've created. By far the biggest deviation is that the followers of Seldon have no idea what the Vault is or his plan and Hardin has none of the strength of character or charisma as in the book. We are also lacking the sheer grandeur of the empire and the size of it is missing too. The series so far gives us the feeling of a very claustrophobic solar system, rather than a galaxy. It is still early on in the series, episode 3 in the first season, so I will give it a bit more time to get going. And I will give it a break for a modern reworking - but only so far. I just hope they haven't ruined it because this was a chance to create something truly breath-taking.

Bumblebee is how all the other Transformer movies should have been made: without Shia LaBeouf and John Turturro's stupid "humour" which ruined the Transformer movies. What a difference it made having a sidekick that really meshed with Bumblebee. Loved it!
