I was looking forward to seeing Bridgerton. So, on Christmas day when it dropped on Netflix, my mother and I sat down after a long day and watched the first 2 episodes. We barely made it through the first episode. After the glorious Downton Abbey by the master, Julian Fellowes, this paled in comparison. Terrible acting, and without any form of character or depth of human spirit, it was difficult to understand and flitted from one ridiculous scene to another at breakneck speed. How could anyone savour anything that was going on? Shallow and Very disappointing .
