Exceptionally well-written. High marks for Mr. Bowden's exhaustive research. His narrative places the reader in the streets of Hue with America's finest. Shameful that U.S. troops were still engaged in 1968 (and beyond) in a war that was already lost in 1962. We need works such as this to remind us "never again", and more importantly, to give thanks on bended knee for those who have the courage to endure such horror.
