This show came out when I was 15, but I didn't start watching it until 17. At 20 I binged through Season 4 and I just picked it up again at 26. I am in tears after the last episode. Sure, it's a kids show, but it really isn't. It's one of the most thoughtful, beautifully crafted tv shows of all time. I wish I'd had it when I was younger, for its beauty, its wit, but moreover, its promise of joy in a world that feels bleak. From the intro song I always find myself smiling. It's easy to consume mindlessly, but I encourage any new viewer to take a closer look. You'll walk away with a new perspective and a little more child-like wonder.
