Efuru is a novel that gives goosebumps at the same time a home-like feeling. It's interesting and fantastic. I personally love this novel. One can learn a lot about the Igbo women which Chinua Achebe missed in Things Fall Apart.

Go for it if you struggle with suicide ideation. This isn't just a book, it's a collection of therapeutic remedies to help with the will to kill oneself. She wasn't just the boatman for Angel, she was one for me as well.
