The story is very good, but I think sadly the two leads did not have any chemistry. They both played their parts extremely well, but the romance was not believable. Mostly the female lead looked very uncomfortable until the final few episodes. I think the people who cast her did not know how to get the best out of her with regard to an Asian girl playing the lead role. Also, where was her family? Her big Asian wedding? If youโre going to cast an Asian to play a lead role from an old white English novel, (which I havenโt read, my first time watching this story unfold) add some real depth to the story in a way that is believable. Also, use an Asian name for an Asian woman. The male actor played his character really well, except that because the romance was not believable, he really did come across as keeping the girl hanging on while he had his fun. Then came running to her when it all went wrong. That part was believable.
