Personally, I think it's a really good movie! I always get nervous watching new movies in the theaters because recently movies have felt so uninspired, plain and just for children. Out of all illumination's movies, the despicable me/Minions series has always been my favorite. Honestly this one was better than the first minions movie. That one felt a bit more like it was just for a quick cash grab. But this movie has a great plot, it introduced a ton of new characters, it keeps you captivated with the visuals. And best of all, it wasn't just all about the minions, (though the minions were pretty great in this movie) Bob is still the same innocent sweetheart he is in the old movie which made me happy. It also features a young Dr. Nefario, Yay! There were some scenes that were a bit iffy- like when Young gru walks in to his mom with her 'guru' after making some suspicious noises he overheard(my heart was racing I don't wanna think about that anymore. Though some butt scenes (but what do you expect from illumination.) And you know the casual fantasy violence. But overall I enjoyed it! Definitely a classic quotable movie for me and my siblings

Did NOT enjoy. I really wanted to like it, and was so excited due to the success and heart of the previous Pixar movies. I am the target audience for this movie but I felt sooo uncomfortable during this movie, I don't mind the period ones because it's natural however, it makes me wonder who watched this and thought it was be rated PG! When I saw the trailers, I was exited because I was hoping at least the actual puberty stuff would just be a short part of the movie. I don't understand why the characters have to be so cringe and so rebellious! I am the same age as the girls in the movie and I could never! The whole thing was so disappointing to watch because I loved the mother, she was super encouraging and lovely. I hated to see her daughter ruin their whole relationship because of her rebellious and mean daughter. There was no good messages in the movie, it's all about disobedience and 'my panda my choice'. I watched this while babysitting my 11yo brother and 6yo sister. Fortunately, all the jokes and stuff went over my little sisters head (thank God) I was so hoping they would drop the super touchy subjects like the 'sexy' drawings. They should change the ratings to PG-13+ because it was highly inappropriate and even the target audience will be covering their ears with embarrassment for the characters. However the colors were GORGEOUS and the idea was cute at heart. But this did NOT feel like Pixar movie and disappointed me to the max, it feels like a failed Netflix flick that no one has heard about. I turned it off about halfway through because it was just too much. Never want to watch again. Brain rot for children, and sad because of what route my favorite studios are going on. Deeply disappointed.

I love it!! Such a cute movie! Plz watch! WARNING Tear shedder! It's so heartwarming and characters are very memorable and by far my favorite Pixar movie😍! I'm obsessing over it!! The only thing I wish was that there were more sciences with Laurel. She's such a cool character being the mom of two teenagers. boys for that fact! She reminds me of my mom. But The movie wouldn't be complete without Ian
