1. Well the dialogue are direct and don't carry the necessary emotion. 2. The consecutive life jumps become a bit predictable. 3. The lack of a complex secondary character. The story is too much focused on Nora. I guess Hugo would had made a good side character. 4. Transition and emotions are abrupt such as the kissing scene. 5. Too much emphasis on philosophers and in the most absurd situation. But it also have some good points. I personally like the glaciologist part particularly the island chapter. More good could be done by describing the surroundings and emotional environment.
