From the opening music scene, I could tell this wasn’t what I was expecting. The music was too happy & fun. The trailers led me to believe this was gonna be Blackhawk Down. Turns out it was just an unbelievable story about journalists in war zones that miraculously don’t get shot. Doesn’t make any sense why they would be allowed to follow soldiers that closely. I’d be like, get away from me lol I’m sure it’s a decent movie, but had to stop watching when the French dude started being creepy with the kid.

Great remake of that one with Tom Cruise & Carey Elwes.

VERY slow. The show isn’t so much about aliens, it’s more about the handful of people’s lives that the invasion affects.
