The book started off OK but as another reviewer stated the anti-Christian and God comments were over the top. I felt as if the writer had a personal vendetta against these topics. I don't read novels to hear about author's personal views and then add them to the story line. On the plus side, women have made strides in the professional area since the 1960's and that was perhaps the best part of the book.
