We took our 8 year old granddaughter to see this movie and I have to say I was less than pleased, or impressed with nearly everything about this move. I have gone to several Angel Studio movies over the last few years and had come to expect the quality and family friendliness of these types of movies. My granddaughter was outright frightened and wanted to leave the theater because of all the horror scenes and monster scenes. She was constantly covering her eyes and holding her ears. Who knows if she can even sleep at nights now for a while? I also didn't appreciate the random curse words thrown in here and there which offended her as well. It was rated PG but probably should have been rated an R. On top of that, the movie was hard to follow and explanations about the death of the mother were nowhere to be found. This is certainly not a movie for young children to see and I doubt many preteens, teenagers, or even adults will enjoy this movie. There was some good acting, but it did not make up for the multiple downsides to this movie. My advice is to save your money and watch something else. I am sad that we even took her to this outrageous movie. Absolutely terrible and don't know if we will be watching any more Angel Studios movies at all ever again.. I have lost all confidence in anything they produce!!!!
