Movie lovers and critics would be blown away by this black and white mystery thriller. This movie revolves around a small village in Kerala in the 17th century, where a common man unknowingly reaches the palace of a feudal lord, and the rest of the plot progresses around the dark events that unfold around the characters. This movie is well written, with a strong plot that forms the core of the movie. The director has well executed the movie and must require a special mention for his work. The camera, art, and music departments deserve praise as well for their impeccable contribution. However, the performances from the star cast are the backbone of the movie, where the Megastar Mammooty stole the show as usual from his counterparts. Do not miss this in theatres as the twists and turns will keep you engaged throughout the movie.

This is a perfect movie to watch if you want to laugh out loud. Rajanikanth, Jyothika and Prabhu's acting is so terrible that you literally jump out from your seats. Climax portion is the highlight of the movie. Dialogues and expressions will make you look the serious and horror scenes as comedy. Unrealistic spoof of the original. Recommended to people who have already watched the original, or else you won't enjoy the humour involved in the film.
