Ever hear how the wife is always sad there is no emotional connection in the marriage and she dreams of running away forever... Mommy likes her children. Mommy stays to make sure they don't become terrible humans or sexists. Daddy works but is never sober at home. Well, he think is is sometimes but that's actually his hangover. That's when he gets particularly mad when his wife brings up issues instead of having a good time. (They always argue bc issues never get resolved, but he thinks she's just a nagging B bc his mind can not process issues bc his brain is in a coma due to alcohol.) Yay alcohol! Science. Look it up.
