Got pretty repetitive and sloggish to me. Expected a little more depth in the script.

A single nuclear missile is launched at the States and we get an all-angles view of how we might respond as a nation. Unfortunately, the ending is so breathless it makes the film seem more like a political ploy than a story.

I was prepared for a reheated version of the story, but instead got something entirely more dramatic with depth. Del Toro made something really stunning.

Compelling and awesome story that gets marred by trying to be so artistic in format, that the narrative suffers. Makes me want to read the book, though.

A documentary almost exclusively made from body cam footage. Susan shot AJ through her door because she was tired of her kids. A lot of debate whether the documentary was fair to Susan, but the jury had no problem convicting her.

Play Dirty tried to hard in general and didn't give Wahlberg anything to work with. Should have been 30 minutes shorter, too.

The Astronaut returns to earth to be put under careful watch by NASA in a safehouse, away from her family. But when her body starts to change and she hears creatures - things get weird. Then, the last 15 minutes takes such a nose dive that you wanna quit the movie.

You want them to be wittier - for the smarts to smack a little harder. But it's just like nursing home vegetable broth. Warm, but bland.

As far as martial arts death battles go, POW excels. As far as having a credible WWII plot, it fails.

It's hard to put a dog as a lead role in a film...and Good Boy didn't succeed in making it work. His owner, who is terminally ill, is at grandpa's place battling a dark drippy force that might be death personified.
