I watch this movie with basically a clean slate. Not wanting all the negative reviews to influence me. I have seen all the other resident evil movies including the animated ones and I have to say this movie was a fun ride. It had elements from the games which I thought was finally A very nice touch, seemingly this concept was Abandoned in all the other movies. And it was refreshing that the female characters were not “Mary Sue’s”, all powerful and godlike. This movie is so much better than anything we’ve had before and it’s not a waste of time. It’s a solid 3 3/4 ⭐️
