Denise O'Connor

This is one of the most powerful movies I’ve ever seen. I read the book and found it compelling and intellectually engaging. I couldn’t imagine how it could be turned into a film. But wow, did Ava nail it. She’s a brillliant storyteller. Everyone should watch this film. It’s long, but the time flies by. It’s one thing to get the concept of caste, another thing to watch her unpack the concept and see the evil that it creates.
