After Ever Happy is the 4th novel in a 5 book series. This series is called the After series, it may sound somewhat familiar because there is a movie on Netflix called After which is based on the first novel. Furthermore, this book is considered contemporary romance, what i really love about this book is it's not the typical cheesy and predictable romance novel... it shows the true hardships of young love and that in all reality love is not simple nor easy. Likewise, this book always keeps me guessing, i love how i think i know what's gonna happen or how the books gonna end but then PLOT TWIST, the unimaginable happens. I feel like having those plot twists are very significant to a novel because that is what keeps a reader reading and interested. Since this is one of the last books i don't really know if i can share anything without ruining the story for people who may read it in the future. But one thing i can say is that i predict that Hardin will marry Tessa, even though he was always opposed to the idea of ever getting married and having kids. I think at this point he loves Tessa so much and that he feels the only way to make up for the horrible things they have gone through as a couple is to secure their future by proposing marriage. I also feel like his character has changed tremendously since the first novel, he discovered that he really does want marriage and always has, but he was always afraid to admit it to himself because he was scared of commitment. Anyway, this series is such an amazing series and highly recommend it. (oh and for those of you who aren't into reading, check out the movie, it's the least you could do haha).... :))
