So resident evil is my favorite series. Be it movies,games books or something else I almost always enjoy the experience. This movie however was painful. It was not close to the source material as many reviews say, the actors had no chemistry and failed to deliver any kind of thrill. The special effects were more often than not budget quality. I have so many complaints with this movie I honestly have no idea where to start. My biggest issue is how they starting so many plot concepts and never once deliver. Zombie children, who chief irons really works for, Lisa Trevor, the Ashford twins. It was painful, and probably not even worth a redbox evening.

Just....so..bad! Its like Disney kept 10% of the original and threw the rest out the window. No musical numbers No cricket or sassy horse Mushu the dragon was changed to an unnamed Phoenix who has no dialog or anything and out of the 2 hour film has appeared for less than 5 minutes. The grandma was changed to a sister with less personality. Love interest is just a basic soldier. The animated movie had far more drama and action scenes that actually worked. My least favorite thing is how mulan has magic powers apparently. It makes no sense with half of what they do. This is..so bad its embarrassing and I feel bad for disney.
