First and foremost, I sympathize for those who were affected by this cult. I also can tell the producers of this doc had their heart in the right place while making this series. I’m assuming their goal was to spread awareness about the cult which im sure they’ve successfully done.
As far as the documentary, as a casual viewer looking to watch something entertaining , this is not a must see. 3 episodes certainly could’ve been condensed into 2 episodes. Although im glad no one was hurt or worse, I felt myself waiting for something huge to happen and it just doesn’t. Like I mentioned if you’re simply looking for an entertaining movie night, this isn’t what you’re looking for. If you’re anything like me, you’re not going to relate to anyone on the series. It’s seems everyone was very confused on who they truly were and allowed themself to told who to be. If have a strong foundation in Christ and know who he created you be, no one else can change that
