Regardless of the quality of the movie, I am extremely disappointed that they decided to stick to the tired old lizard-esque dinosaurs instead of trailblazing with the new science.
We now know that many dinosaurs -- especially the big bad theropods like T-Rex, velociraptor, et. al. -- were feathered creatures.
They could have trail-blazed a new aesthetic with our new paleontological knowledge that would set this film apart, but instead they're purposely lying to the audience and to themselves in order to cling to an old image that the Jurassic Park franchise basically owns by now anyway. Kind of a sad lost opportunity.
