I was born the year before it aired but remember watching it as a kid with my dad. We lived in Palos Verdes and basically lived at the beach. Some episodes had been filmed in the area and everyone watched and knew the show Sea Hunt. As kids we would always pretend we were on sea hunt when we played at Abalone Cove Shore Club our private beach up until we moved back east in 1969. Now closed as a preserve. We used to swim in the large inlets feeding into the cave at the one end of the beach, It was so dangerous and had the parents had any clue we were doing that they would have surely stopped us. Had to jump in the water as the tide came in and it would lift you up as you crossed the inlet to the cave to get to the other side... I would NEVER to that now.. we were fearless and did not know any better... but we had the best time, Sea Hunt brings back all the memories of that beach life... Lloyd Bridges was great.. we all wanted to be like his character... loved it!
