I thought the movie was pretty….ok. It is a reminder how far down I went and how much I don’t want to ever ever go there again. One thing I’ve always wanted to say…no dentist is going to deny an addict novocaine. First, because it’s not a narcotic….affects the brain in no way and second, it would be archaic and abusive to do that to someone. I’ve been in recovery a long time and even in my earliest days was I ever declined numbing medication for stitches or dental work. Today if I thought that were true I wouldn’t get clean….hell no. No one wants to endure that kind of pain. So please hear me when I say you won’t have to.
