I gave this 3 stars because Josh Harnett is really good at being the bad guy. That's about it. I expected more from an M. Night film... more unexpected twists and turns or something! It was slow and a bit too predictable for me. Also, not sure how or why they cast that girl as the role of the singer- her acting really needs work. She had such a big part in this film and her scenes were a little hard to watch. Glad I saw it on hbo free instead of paying in theaters.

Ultimately, I'm upset I wasted an hour and half of my life watching this. It was predictable and corny. I guessed the whole movie, from the bad guy & to the "plot twist" that's been done a million times, within the first 5 minutes of watching. And I really hate to say it, but Brenda's acting was not up to par... Netflix seems to be losing it, unfortunately.

The only reason I gave two stars was because I enjoy kevin, mark & Regina as actors. Other than that- this movie was a total dud. Kevin and Regina's character had absolutely no chemistry, they were not a believable partnership. Hart and Wahlberg are usually funny but I felt the whole time they were trying too hard and missed the comedy mark. Really wanted to like this movie but I did not laugh once. It seems like they had so many ideas and decided to use them all but did not do any of them justice. I think they're intention was to make this movie seem like an epic journey but ended up with a chaotic mess.

I expected so much more from this movie- especially with the comedic cast that it has. There was no humor in this film. I found it cringe-worthy how broken Silverstone's character was from her previous marriage, that she repeatedly chose to stay with an unfaithful man (we see three separate instances of infidelity on his part, in the film) who does not fulfill her needs. The low budget locations were apparent and the plot was completely predictable. The cheesiest part for me was the fall down the stairs- very 80's soap opera.
